Living Waters Museum
Established in 2017, Living Waters Museum is a virtual museum which engages youth in visualizing water heritage and re-imagining sustainable, inclusive, and equitable water futures. Through storytelling and technology we seek to celebrate our water wisdom, inspire youth to look at water from an interdisciplinary perspective, and build a digital repository as a source of learning for the future. We are based at the Centre for Water Research at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research IISER-Pune and are a founding member of the Global Network of Water Museums, endorsed by UNESCO’s International Hydrology Program in 2018.
Institute for Water Education, IHE Delft
It is the largest international graduate water education facility in the world. Based in Delft, the Netherlands, IHE Delft confers fully accredited MSc degrees and PhD degrees in collaboration with Dutch partner universities. The Institute conducts research and supports capacity development to address the world's water challenges.
Musée de l’Eau
Musée de l’Eau in Burkina Faso is a space for valuing water as a resource at cultural, sociological, anthropological and political levels. The Museum collects and exhibits tangible water heritages such as water scoops, calabashes, ropes and intangible heritages such as songs, myths, and the manifold symbolisms of water.
SciComm X
It is a consultancy specializing in science and sustainability communication, assisting clients in fostering social, economic, and environmental impact. The focus of the company is on offering its clients the tools and strategies needed to succeed in the science, sustainability, environment, and health industries.
The School for Water Resources, IIT Kharagpur
The School of Water Resources aims at providing integrated and interdisciplinary approaches involving hydrological, environmental, chemical, biophysical, economic, institutional, and policy-planning aspects, to solve the ever-growing water-related challenges in domestic, agriculture and industry sectors. It aims to develop knowledge, insight and engineering skills required to design, implement and evaluate water management policies and strategies. The School entertains professionals working in the water services sector in private organizations as well as in the water management related departments of central and state governments for short-term training and specific project assignments.
Science Media Center, IISER
A cross-functional unit that brings together research and practice of science communication and public engagement, the Centre offers practitioners and science enthusiasts a platform to reflect on the current state of the field, and try out new ideas. The work broadly focuses on four areas: Product development, Professional growth, Pedagogy, or Public Education and Practice.
The University of Khartoum
The University of Khartoum is a prestigious and well known public university located in Khartoum, the capital of Sudan. Established in 1902, it is the oldest and one of the largest universities in Sudan and the broader North Africa region. The university has played a crucial role in the country’s educational and intellectual development and has produced many prominent figures in various fields. It includes twenty faculties and eight research institutes. The university is known for fostering an environment of free expression, and it has been a catalyst for the country’s development in multi dimensional aspects.
HAE, Ethiopia
A design consortium based in Ethiopia, HAE aims to explore and promote the role of storytelling in shaping the future of the built environment, natural resources, and people. It firmly believes that stories have the power to shape our understanding of the world in addressing socio-environmental challenges and promoting climate resilience. HAE is committed to advocating for equitable and sustainable resource management by leveraging the power of storytelling, narrative design, and curation. Through promoting impactful stories as a potential tool for change, HAE fosters a more sustainable and just world.
